About Me
I have a broad range of experience having worked in the Charitable Sector since 2003. I have been a frontline young people's support worker, worked within childhood bereavement services, been a community family support worker for a substance misuse charity and trained in Systemic Family Psychotherapy at Birmingham CAMHS (Systemic Practitioner). I have been a trustee, a Director of two small local charities and I'm currently a CEO (part-time). In these roles I have learnt strategy, operational management, transformational change and leadership skills. In my freelance capacity I have been delivering culture, infrastructure and systems change, business development and income generation. My clients are based all across the UK from a 16th century Community Heritage Centre, a registered charity supporting homeless adults with complex needs in Gloucester, an arts charity delivering art and music in schools in Oxfordshire and a non-profit supporting older people in London. I have bid writing experience in National Lottery, Children in Need, Arts Council England, Heritage Lottery, Garfield Weston and a whole host of others.

I studied with QuoLux and The University of Gloucestershire to gain my Masters in Leading Business graduating in 2022. It is with Quolux that I learned to match my non-profit experience with academic theory to improve my knowledge and understanding of leadership and its importance in generating success.
I launched Luma in April 2023 to broaden my experience and offer my skills to non-profit organisations across the UK.
